We all deserve quality healthcare services. If you have financial difficulties that limit your access to healthcare services, please let me know so I can adjust my rates for you.
(I also offer pro-bono services after a prior study of socioeconomic needs.)

Core Values

What is Holistic Psychotherapy?

I have always believed that humans are multifaceted beings and that in order to help people we have to understand that there are several factors that contribute to our realities. The integral psychotherapy model allows us to take into account that we are individuals within an ecosystem of different levels that address psychological, social, economic, systemic and spiritual issues. It is crucial that we give importance to our interactions with these systems in order to better understand ourselves and find help that is specific and sensitive to our contexts. We are mind, body and soul and each of these parts deserves its own space to achieve balance.

Patient-Centered Therapy

In all my interventions, I use the Rogerian philosophy that every patient is an active agent in his or her process, and has the autonomy to decide the direction of the therapy.

Together we will discover your goals and aspirations, and I am committed to working with you to help you achieve them.

Integrative Model

I work with the firm belief that all humans are unique beings who require specific attention, and do not always have the same needs.

I make available my training in different areas, and my knowledge of different therapeutic models so that together we can find what works for you.

Specialties

Logotherapy

Youth Counseling

All the psychotherapy services I offer are based on Logotherapy.

This school, founded by Viktor Frankl, aims to help patients find meaning in life through therapeutic, empathetic and informed processes regarding human adversities.

Trauma-Informed Therapy

All my interventions are informed by traumatic processes and their responses at psychological, biological and social levels. You will always have a safe space to process trauma and find hope in healing and developing resilience. Together we will find the path to the inner peace you seek using models supported by science and humanism.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Female Patient

One of the models I use is cognitive behavioral therapy, which is one of the most effective treatments for depression, anxiety disorders, alcohol and drug abuse problems, marital problems, eating disorders, and other disorders. It is a scientifically supported modality that focuses on being more analytical about our mental processes and our actions. With this method we can develop a treatment plan so that you can live the life you want to live and achieve your goals.

Mindfulness

Meditation

I use mindfulness techniques to encourage you to be more aware of the present and develop techniques for managing stress or panic attacks. I will equip you with the necessary tools so that you can use them in any environment or situation that causes you anxiety.

Thanatology

One of my specialties is psychological support for people who have experienced loss. I offer support services for people in end-of-life processes or who experience terminal illnesses. I also work with families who are going through these kinds of processes.

Treatment for substance use disorders

Inpatient Drug Abuse Treatment

If you are going through an addiction process or are a family member of someone who suffers from substance abuse disorders, this is the perfect place to start your journey towards recovery.

I have extensive experience in substance abuse treatment. I will be there to support you every step of the way and help you gain tools to sustain your recovery over the long term. I am a firm believer that these processes are different for everyone and that we all have different paces. We will always start from where you are and move forward at your own pace.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

A man taking notes

Going to therapy is a decision that requires a lot of courage and work, and I want to help you recognize those qualities in yourself so that you can commit to living a full and healthy life.

You will also be able to better understand your emotional processes and the way you think in order to cultivate an attitude of acceptance and change.
